Project Overview

Project Type: Jewelry WooCommerce E-commerce Website

Main tools: WordPress, WooCommerce, WoodMart, Elementor

My responsibilities include: configuring homepage modules, maintaining the jewelry series entry point, organizing product display materials, managing image materials, and performing basic checks on both desktop and mobile devices.

Project Objectives

The system revolves around the visual display of jewelry products, series browsing, and navigation to individual product detail pages. It configures a basic browsing path from the main series on the homepage and category entrances to the product detail pages, helping users understand different jewelry products by category.

Implementation Guidelines

– Configure the homepage banner, featured collections, jewelry category entry points, and product display modules using WoodMart and Elementor.
– Work with WooCommerce to maintain images, titles, prices, categories, and front-end display information for jewelry products.
– Configure entry points for necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, and other series to help users access the corresponding product collections from the homepage.
– Check the product gallery, product information, material or specifications, purchase entry, and related product displays on the product details page.
– Conduct basic checks on both desktop and mobile versions, paying attention to image aspect ratio, text display, product cards, and button presentation.

Technology and Operations Highlights:

Conversion chain guaranteeMultiple rounds of testing were conducted on Add to Cart, discount code stacking, and the WooCommerce checkout process to ensure a seamless and unobstructed ordering experience on the front end.
Mobile-first adaptationThe focus was on optimizing the visual presentation of the WoodMart theme on mobile devices, ensuring smooth response from the product variation/size selector and the inquiry button.
Risk control and change guidelinesWe adopt a "backup before change + small-scale sandbox verification" operation process to avoid site crashes or page style errors caused by plugin conflicts.
